One of my favorite places on the web to visit is the A.V. Club, a place where TV shows, movies, and other media are reviewed. One of the reasons I visit it everyday is for its strong sense of community. You can tell that all the writers are friends with each other, and the comment section has its own regular cast of characters.
The site is well-known for its witty, geeky, and constantly snarky sense of humor.

art they report on, with the sometimes harsh criticism coming

which peppers the comment section with the funniest and most compulsively readable
text on the Internet. Common characters include Eat Up Martha,
Xanderpuss, Guy Incognito, and the unforgettable Vanderterf. While these
names might not suggest greatness, they’re just as entertaining as the writers,
if not more so.
