Instagram is an online photo-sharing app for smartphones. Users may post pictures, videos and write a brief description of the image, and create a unique #hashtag name that stays with that image.Photos may also be shared through Facebook and other social media platforms.
I enjoy using Instagram on a daily basis to see a newsfeed full of vibrant photos captured and posted by friends and individuals from around the world. I love having my own personal album that I can keep track of the places I traveled or special moments I want to remember, and having an Instagram allows me to do that.
Instagram offers features such as filters, edit/cropping, tagging friends and adding a location to your image. One cool thing I enjoy is using the search bar to find cool photos or places I want to visit. By typing in a specific name or hashtag you are give multiple post shared by other users. So If you ever missed out on something cool you could search it and image you were there by checking it out on Instagram!
To start using Instagram the app needs to be downloaded at no cost to you. Users are free to create a unique username so friends and others may follow you and view your photos. If you do not have one I recommend everyone getting one. To keep track of life moments you can look back on and share with family and friends. If you are not comfortable having your pictures public click on the private setting to control who sees your photos.
