When rating the designs on a website I consider a few things; style, cleanliness, color contrast, appeal, content and if it is appropriate.
Irene Sarah is a lifestyle blogger and vlogger, who travels the world learning and loving life. Everytime I visit her site I am astonished by the content on her site. Not only, do her posts intrigue me, her site has a purpose, such as giving information on a new products or about a country she traveled . Her website is also quick to load, which is always a plus (since people usually click out of a website in 3 seconds if it hasn’t loaded). The website also is easily navigational and fairly easy to locate desired information.

Usability is referring to the ease of reading. Ease of reading is based on relatively short lines of text and freedom from distractions such as bright colored backgrounds or distracting textures.
Since fashion week was last week, I think it is only fair that I show you the beauty of the Vogue website. Vogue has been around since 1892 as a fashion and lifestyle magazine, that has showed us the in’s and out’s of all things fashion. When you go to the Vogue website, it is fast to load and clean a crisp with the overall structure of the website. There is an ease of reading while on the site it has short lines of text and freedom from distractions such as bright colored backgrounds or distracting textures. The Vogue website is always up-to-date with the latest in fashion news, and articles describing what’s hot and what’s not! The website design is unique from other fashion magazines websites, bringing professional photography and visuals as a main element to the website versus using headlines and text. Lastly, the technology that is used in their CSS is really interesting, the way you scroll through the website and hover over tabs.
