For the bootstrap assignment I decided to choose my dads bakery located in Houston, Tx called Drew’s Pastry Place. I watched him follow his dream to become a pastry chef; going to school, opening up businesses and finally opening up his very own bakery. I’ve worked there since the very first day it opened in August of 2008 and I still go back and help out whenever I can. I’ve learned so much from my dad as a business owner and I’m grateful to be as involved as I am.
