I May Have A Problem… (My Favorite Website)

Anyone who knows me knows that I am OBSESSED with social media. As a result, I’m constantly checking Facebook and Twitter, as well as my Instagram. However, the website I probably spend the most time on is Facebook. It’s the first social media site I ever signed up for and as a result it is the one I spend the most time on. I access the site the most because it’s my main way of communicating with my friends that live in other timezones or who I don’t see all the time. My favorite feature, though, is probably the Unfollow feature for friends you don’t necessarily want to unfriend but whose posts you don’t want to see all the time. I also like the private messaging feature because it can be easier than texting, especially with my friends who don’t live in the United States.

Hey Kathryn, I also had that problem too, but i have distanced myself from most social media. My go to is Twitter because of the news aspect and for meeting people with similar interests. I stay away from Facebook and Instagram because I feel that scrolling through other peoples updates is a waste of my time, but I still log on sometimes to keep up with people I don’t see much. Your post shows how much I know about Facebook *lol* because I had no idea that it had an unfollow feature.

I mostly have Facebook to keep up with my family and friends at home, but I avoid the Dashboard most times since it distracts me too much. What helped me was just keeping the fb messanger app, that way you don’t have to see the dash and get distracted for too long in your cellphone. Also, thank you so much for talking about that Unfollow feature. I was not aware that it existed but I am definitely going to take advantage of that.
